May 2nd

On May 1st, at 1am May Raiter was in a single car roll-over accident in King City, on her way to Lake San Antonio. She was MedVac'd to a bay area hospital and is being treated for a severe brain injury in the intensive care unit.

Currently, she is stable but unconscious and has undergone numerous tests to determine the severity of her condition. Her vitals are strong, and she has movement in all limbs. This morning she responded to her name, and opened her eyes!

Her brother Victor is with her at the hospital, and her mom is arriving today and will be here indefinitely to take care of May.

For the privacy of the family, and for the respect of the hospital staff, please do not call the hospital to inquire on her condition, and please do not visit at this time. The hospital staff is working hard to treat our friend and do not need further distractions. And at this time, May needs to rest and let her brain heal. As her condition changes your assistance and visits will definitely be needed.

Please keep May in your thoughts and prayers. In the unit that she iscurrently in, she is unable to receive flowers and cards. I will let you know when this changes.

I will be sending a daily email to you with an update on May's condition.
